The WinterHaven Hotel, the newest hotel on Ocean Drive, is now open following a two-year, top-to-bottom renovation of its dramatic lobby and guest rooms. The hotel, located at Ocean Drive and 14th Street, is directly across the street from the Atlantic Ocean, and features ocean views from most of its guest rooms.
The 1939 Art Deco jewel, designed by top Deco architect Albert Anis, offers South Beach rarities: five-star hotel service, refined and tasteful surroundings, and a quiet corner location four blocks north of the Ocean Drive hubbub.
All guestrooms are decorated in custom designed Art Deco style furniture upholstered in soothing tones of soft green, ginger and cream. Warm yellow walls are accented with black and white photos of classic Miami Beach Deco hotels. Wooden Venetian blinds add to the airy, tropical feeling. |
